INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF MAIA PREMIERES IN PORTUGAL – TECMAIA AUDITORIUM
The city of Maia is about to become the epicenter of global cinema by announcing the first edition of the Maia International Film Festival. Scheduled to take place from May 15th to May 19th, 2024, at the TECMAIA Auditorium, this cinematic celebration promises to captivate both audiences and filmmakers. OPEN CALLS FOR SUBMISSIONS
The Maia International Film Festival invites filmmakers from around the world to be part of this inaugural event by submitting their works. As part of the festival’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, submissions are available for filmmakers in various categories, including feature-length fiction, documentary, and animation. Submissions can be made through the festival’s official website www.maiaiff.com, with a deadline on March 24th, 2024. Filmmakers are encouraged to seize this opportunity to share their unique narratives and perspectives with a global audience.

€5000 IN PRIZES
To recognize and celebrate exceptional cinematic achievements, the Maia International Film Festival announces a total of €5000 in prizes. This monetary prize highlights the festival’s commitment to supporting emerging talents and fostering creativity within the film industry.
